This small pyramid is located on the southeast corner of Djedefre's pyramid. Some archeologist (Stadelman) suggest a cult pyramid, but these normally stood at the southwest corner. A statue of Khentetenka found at Abu Rawash shows that she was Djedefre's consort. Maragioglio and Rinaldi believe it is her pyramid. The current consensus is that it is cult pyramid based mostly on the east-west orientation of the the whole complex. In the background Djedefre's pyramid is visible.
