Pepi I's Queens Pyramids

At present 4 queens pyramids are recognized. All are located on the south side of Pepi I's pyramid. The French have been excavating here for decades and much has been revealed. The pyramid Inenek-Inti has its own cult pyramid, bringing to 8 the number of pyramids at the complex of Pepi I. Each pyramid has its own mortuary temple and offering chapel. The pyramid of Inenek-Inti has the largest associated complex.

Men-nefer-Pipi ---The Perfection of Pepi is Established -----Pepi's splendor is enduring

The Pyramid of Nebuunet is left of middle . To the right of it is the pyramid Inenek-Inti. Pepi's I pyramid enclosure is seen from right to left. In the background on the left is the pyramid of Djedkare-Isesi. In the far background right of center is the pyramid of Pepi II, the mastaba of Shepseskaf. In the remote background (behind Pepi II's pyramid) the pyramids at Dashur.
