The Pyramid Temple of Pepi II

The pyramid temple of Pepi II is located on the east side of the pyramid. It is in a much ruined state but a few beautiful high reliefs still remain in situ. Several granite blocks with the names of Pepi II are scattered about. In the central courtyard were 18 pillars of reddish quartzite. One of them in the northewst corner, remains in situ. It is ornamamented with an image of the pharaoh embracing the god Re-Harakhty.
